How do I filter a screw machine's "Stringy Chips"?
Screw machines pose a difficult problem for filtration. Usually screw machines require a total chip processing system consisting of harpoon conveyor, chip shredder, part separator, centrifuge and conveyors. Filters are often used to filter the oil before it is returned to the machines. A qualified filtration systems supplier should be consulted on projects of this type.
