Central Filtration System or Individual Filters - which is better?
This is a question that needs to be discussed with a qualified filtration engineer. Factors such as machine locations, available floor space, part flow, future expansion plans and environmental concerns all need to be considered when deciding whether to use an individual filter, a medium sized filter for a group of machines or a central system. Recent filtration technology makes it possible to install medium or large filtration systems for some applications without tearing up the plant floor to install flume systems.
