What is "Repurchase on a Lease"?

Repurchase Agreement is a document which determines a specific percentage of repayment by the vendor or manufacturer to pay for the purchase price and/or any breakage costs of the lease. For example, if the customer defaults between months 0-12, the leasing company gets paid out 75% of the purchase price. This is on a declining scale for the length of the term.
