What is "Chromium Nitride"?
Chromium Nitride (CrN) is a specialized coating that resists adhesive wear, corrosion, and oxidation. It is recommended for the machining of copper-based materials and forming operations. It is considerably harder than conventional chrome plating and our PVD coating process has none of the negative environmental side effects.
