Opening for: Quebec & The Maritimes Region - Sales Position
Machine Tool Systems Inc. has an immediate opening for an exciting and fulfilling sales position based in Quebec, also covering The Maritimes.
In this position you will be responsible for sales activities in the designated territory, including: the sales process; discovering leads; needs analysis for potential customers; designing and recommending a manufacturing solution; promoting that solution and maintaining a good relationship with customers
Successful candidates will be self-motivated, energetic, technical, a team player and must possess excellent communications and problem-solving skills.
Fluency in both English and French is a necessity.
A Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering is an asset but not required. Candidates with the following knowledge and skills will be given consideration:
- CNC Grinding Equipment knowledge including: Cylindrical, Surface & Tool Grinders
- 3D Printing / Additive Manufacturing Equipment knowledge including: Metal & Polymer printing
- Must have working knowledge of reading mechanical engineered prints
- Familiar with MS Windows based computers and MS Office Suite software
- Familiar with customer databases for the purpose of reporting and follow-ups utilizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM
- Work experience in the manufacturing or manufacturing sales environment for 3-5 yrs
- Good interpersonal and customer relation skills
- Extensive product training will be provided - The successful candidate must be prepared to travel throughout Eastern Canada and periodically to supplier facilities in both the USA and Europe
